MyICE stands for My In Case of Emergency. It is your personal health vault — a safe place to store everything a doctor, paramedic, or family member would need to know about you in an emergency, or just to help manage your health every day.
You do not need to fill everything in at once. Start with the most important things — your medications, allergies, and emergency contacts — and add more over time.
This is the most important feature in MyICE. If you are ever in an accident, unconscious, or unable to speak, a paramedic or emergency room doctor can pull up your emergency information instantly — no login, no password, no app download needed.
Your emergency page is always available at:
keiko-dev-lcai.github.io/myice
A first responder simply opens that link on any phone or computer and taps Emergency View at the top of the screen. They will immediately see your:
- Blood type and critical medical alerts
- Current medications and dosages
- Allergies (especially drug allergies)
- Emergency contacts and their phone numbers
- DNR / advance directive status
- Primary doctor name and phone number
Tip: Write the URL on a card in your wallet or put it on your phone's lock screen. That way anyone who finds you knows exactly where to look.
MyICE has over 20 sections covering every part of your health. You do not need to use all of them — use whatever is most useful to you. Here is what is available:
⚠️ Allergies
🩺 Conditions
🔬 Lab Results
❤️ Vitals & Charts
📋 Documents
📅 Appointments
💉 Vaccinations
📞 Emergency Contacts
🦷 Vision & Dental
🔧 Medical Devices
📓 Symptom Journal
🎯 Health Goals
👨👩👧 Family Profiles
🏥 Health Insurance
Many people rely on a family member, spouse, or professional caregiver to help manage their health. MyICE makes this safe and easy to track.
How access works: Everyone who should be able to view and update your records — you, your nurse, your spouse — uses the same account username and password to log in. This gives everyone full access, including the ability to sync changes to the cloud.
Identity PINs — Who Did What: After logging in, each person enters their own personal PIN. This PIN identifies who they are for the Access Log — a record of every login and every change made (what was added or deleted, by whom, and when). For example: "Nurse Jones — added Lisinopril 10mg — Jun 3, 2026 2:14 PM."
To set this up, go to Settings → Who Has Access and add each person with their name and a unique PIN. You manage the list — you can add or remove people at any time.
You can also add Family Profiles — one person can manage health records for a spouse, parent, or child, all in one place. Each profile is kept completely separate.
MyICE is a web app — meaning you can open it on any phone, tablet, or computer, anywhere in the world, just by going to:
keiko-dev-lcai.github.io/myice
Free users store data in their browser. This means your records are on that specific device. If you switch phones or clear your browser, the data stays behind.
Premium subscribers ($3/month in LCAI) get their data backed up to the blockchain — meaning you can log in from any device, anywhere, and your full health records are always there. If you lose your phone, travel overseas, or visit a specialist in another city, everything is still accessible.
Stay logged in while you browse: Once you log in, your session is remembered for the rest of that browser tab — even if you refresh the page. You will not need to log in again until you close the tab or tap Log Out. This works the same way as your bank or email.
After you log in with your password for the first time, MyICE will offer to set up fingerprint or Face ID login so you never have to type your password again.
- Log in with your username and password
- A banner will slide up from the bottom of the screen: "Set up fingerprint / Face ID?"
- Tap Set up and follow the on-screen prompt — it will ask you to use your fingerprint or face scan
- That's it. You'll see "Biometric login enabled!"
- Tap the Log In button
- Scroll down past the username and password fields
- Tap 👆 Use Fingerprint / Face ID
- Scan your finger or face — you're in
MyICE can be installed on your phone or computer desktop just like a regular app — no App Store, no download, no cost. Once installed, it opens full screen with one tap, exactly like a real app.
- Open Safari on your iPhone — it must be Safari, not Chrome
- Go to keiko-dev-lcai.github.io/myice
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen — it looks like a box with an arrow pointing up ⬆
- Scroll down in the share menu and tap "Add to Home Screen"
- Tap Add in the top right corner
- MyICE now appears on your home screen — tap it to open like any app
- Open Chrome on your Android phone
- Go to keiko-dev-lcai.github.io/myice
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner
- Tap "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App"
- Tap Install or Add
- MyICE now appears on your home screen — tap it to open like any app
- Open Chrome or Microsoft Edge on your computer
- Go to keiko-dev-lcai.github.io/myice
- Look for a small install icon (⊕ or a computer with a down arrow) on the right side of the address bar — click it
- If you don't see the icon, click the three-dot menu (top right) → "Install MyICE" or "Install app"
- Click Install
- MyICE now appears on your desktop and in your Start Menu / Applications — opens in its own window like a real app
Most of MyICE is completely free. You never need to pay to store and view your health information.

- Cloud backup and sync across devices (requires a free account)

- 🎙️ AI Health Assistant with Voice — speak or type any health question and get an answer. Knows your medications, conditions, and allergies. Can look up your doctor's phone number and give you a tap-to-call button.

- Medication explainer — plain-English explanation of what any medication does
- Lab result analysis — helps you understand your bloodwork before your next appointment

To upgrade, go to Settings → Subscription. Payment is made in LCAI — a cryptocurrency available on most major exchanges.
Important: All AI features provide general background information only. The AI is not a doctor and cannot give medical advice. Always check with your doctor or pharmacist before changing anything about your health care. AI responses may take up to 2 minutes — this is normal.
Free users: All your data is stored only on your device, in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server. Nobody can see your records except you (and anyone you give your PIN to). The downside is that if you clear your browser or switch devices, the data does not move with you.
Premium users: Your emergency data is backed up to the Lightchain blockchain. Your private health records are encrypted before they are stored — meaning only someone with your password can read them. Not even the app can read your private data without your password.
MyICE does not sell your data, show you ads, or share anything with third parties. Your health information is yours.
MyICE works on your phone, your home computer, a family member's tablet — anywhere. One account, all your data.
The first time you log in on any new device, the app will ask you to create an identity PIN for that device. This is normal — it is not asking you to create a new account. It is just setting up the Access Log so it knows who is using this device.
You can use the same name and PIN you already have. Each person who logs in from their own device (for example, an adult child checking on Dad from their home computer) should enter their own name and PIN — so the Access Log shows exactly who looked at what and when.
Your data travels with your account — it syncs automatically when you log in. The PIN stays on each device and only takes a few seconds to set up.
- Tap Log In at the top right → go to Create Account and set a username and password. Write these down — anyone you want to have access will use them too.
- After logging in, a banner will appear at the bottom — tap Set up to enable fingerprint / Face ID login. After this you will never need to type your password again.
- Go to Settings → Who Has Access and add yourself with a name and personal PIN (4–6 digits). Add anyone else who helps with your care (spouse, nurse, etc.) with their own name and PIN.
- Go to My Profile and enter your name, date of birth, and blood type
- Go to Medical Alerts and add your most critical conditions (e.g. diabetic, heart condition)
- Go to Medications and add everything you take, including over-the-counter meds
- Go to Allergies and add any drug or food allergies — especially life-threatening ones
- Go to Emergency Contacts and add at least one person with a phone number
- In Settings, tap Sync to Cloud to back up your data to the blockchain
- Install MyICE to your phone or computer desktop — see the "Install MyICE" card below for step-by-step instructions for iPhone, Android, and PC
- Share the account username and password with anyone who helps with your care — and tell them their PIN
That is it — you now have a working emergency medical ID with cloud backup and a full access log. Everything else you can fill in over time.
These banners appear in your Emergency View and Dashboard — large, bold, impossible to miss. Use for conditions first responders must know immediately.
Quick presets:
📞 Phone numbers are tappable on mobile. Use ▲▼ to set priority order.
Ask any health question by typing or speaking. Tap the 🎙️ mic button and speak — your words will appear automatically. The AI knows your medications, conditions, and allergies.
⚠️ General information only — not medical advice. Always check with your doctor.

Use this section to store health records for other people you care for — spouse, child, parent, caregiver, etc. Each gets their own complete, separate record.
Everyone logs in with the same account password. Each person gets their own PIN — used only to identify who made changes in the Access Log.
Every login and data change — who did it and when.
MyICE ⚕️ is your personal health vault and emergency medical ID. ICE stands for In Case of Emergency — a standard recognized by paramedics, police, and ER doctors worldwide.
Your privacy is our core promise. All health data lives only on your device in browser localStorage. We never see it, store it, or sell it.
⚠️ Not a substitute for medical advice. MyICE is an organizational tool. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions. In an emergency, call 911.
Accepts: PDF, text files, or CCDA/XML (the standard export format used by most major health systems).
Look for options like: Health Summary · Download My Record · Export · Share Record · Blue Button Download · CCDA · Health Data
Choose CCDA, XML, or PDF format if given a choice. CCDA/XML gives the AI the most structured data to work with.
MyICE does not automatically sync with any apps — your health data stays on your device and is never shared without your action. Importing a file is always a manual step you initiate.
Full automatic sync using the FHIR health data standard is planned for a future version.
MyICE ⚕️ is your personal health vault and emergency medical ID. ICE stands for In Case of Emergency — a universal standard recognized by paramedics, police, and ER doctors worldwide.
You store your health information once, and it is available instantly — whether you need to share it with a new doctor, hand your phone to a paramedic, or look up a medication while traveling.
Yes. All health data is stored on your device only — in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your phone or computer unless you explicitly share it. We have no server storing your records. No one at MyICE can see your data.
The only time data leaves your device is when you use an AI feature (like Lab Analysis or Drug Interaction Check). In that case, only the specific text you submit is sent to our AI server for processing — and it is discarded immediately after. No personal information is retained on our servers.
The Emergency tab is the first button on the screen — a large red button that anyone can tap without a PIN or login. It shows only the information you have chosen to make emergency-visible, such as your blood type, allergies, current medications, emergency contacts, and DNR status.
How to set it up: In each section (Allergies, Medications, Conditions, etc.), look for the "Show in Emergency" toggle on each entry. Turn it on for anything you want paramedics or ER staff to see instantly.
You control exactly what is visible. Everything else stays completely private.
Medical Alerts are bold warning banners shown at the very top of the app — visible to anyone who opens it, before they even tap Emergency. Think of them as a digital version of a medical alert bracelet.
Examples: ⚠️ DIABETIC · ⚠️ DO NOT RESUSCITATE · ⚠️ SEVERE PENICILLIN ALLERGY · ⚠️ ALZHEIMER'S PATIENT
Go to the Medical Alerts section in the sidebar to add, edit, or remove alerts. You decide what is shown and what stays private.
Everyone who should access your records — you, a spouse, a nurse, a family member — uses the same username and password to log in. This gives full access to view and update all records.
After logging in, each person enters their own identity PIN. This PIN does not control what they can do — it simply identifies who they are in the Access Log, so you always know who made changes and when.
The account owner manages PINs in Settings → Who Has Access. Add each person with a name and a unique 4–6 digit PIN.
Emergency View — No login needed. Anyone can tap Emergency and see your emergency medical information. They cannot access anything else in the app.
Free — always included:
- Emergency tab and Medical Alerts
- All health record storage (conditions, medications, allergies, contacts, history, vitals, appointments, billing, and more)
- Vitals graphs and tracking
- Symptom journal
- Doctor questions notepad
- Family profiles
Premium AI features — $3/month in LCAI:
- Lab result analysis — plain-English explanation of your blood work
- Drug interaction checker — AI scans your full medication list for conflicts
- Medication explainer — what each drug does, side effects, warnings
- Document AI — upload a medical document, AI reads and files it
- Symptom pattern analysis — AI spots trends in your journal
- Appointment question suggester — personalized questions for your next visit
- AI health assistant chat
Premium is billed monthly in LCAI — the native token of the Lightchain AI network. Payment is made directly from your crypto wallet (Trust Wallet or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet).
To subscribe, go to Settings and tap Upgrade to Premium. You will be prompted to send the current monthly amount in LCAI to activate your subscription.
LCAI can be purchased on major crypto exchanges and DEXes. You can also bridge LCAI to Lightchain mainnet at bridge.lightchain.ai.
Because your data is stored in browser localStorage, clearing your browser's site data will erase your MyICE records. Always export a backup before clearing browser data.
To export your data, go to Settings → Export My Data. This creates a JSON backup file you can save to your device.
This is also why we recommend using MyICE on a device you own and trust — not a public or shared computer.
Go to Family Profiles in the sidebar and tap Add Profile. Give it a name (e.g. "Mom", "Dad", "My Child"). Each profile is fully separate — its own records, emergency info, and settings.
Switch between profiles using the profile selector at the top of the app. Each profile can have its own Owner and Caregiver PINs.
Yes — MyICE is a web app that works on any device with a browser, including iPhone and Android. Open it in your phone's browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.) and add it to your home screen for instant one-tap access.
On iPhone: Tap the Share button in Safari → Add to Home Screen.
On Android: Tap the menu in Chrome → Add to Home Screen.
This puts a MyICE icon on your home screen that opens like an app — no app store download needed.
